Keep the text short enough for strong strokes
The same model width divided across more characters creates thinner letters. Short names and labels usually print more reliably than full sentences.
Use a base that supports disconnected letters
A continuous backing plate keeps letters such as i, j, punctuation, and separated words in one printable model. Relief height then controls how far the letters stand above the base.
Design at the intended physical width
Scaling later is possible, but generating near the final size makes it easier to judge whether strokes and gaps are realistic for the nozzle and material.
