Check whether a product-photo border appears white
The checker samples pixels around the border and corners and allows a small tolerance for neutral near-white compression variation. It reports how much of that sampled edge looks white so you can catch off-white sweeps, gray corners, or edge shadows before marketplace review.
- Appears white means most sampled edge pixels pass the near-white tolerance.
- Mostly white means the border is mixed.
- Not predominantly white means too few sampled edge pixels are near white.
Use the result as a screening signal, not a compliance verdict

How can I check if an image background is pure white?
Use the border estimate as a quick screen, then inspect the complete image. Pure white pixels are RGB 255,255,255, but an automated border sample cannot validate every interior pixel.
Why can a white product confuse the result?
Border sampling cannot reliably separate a white subject touching the edge from its background.
Is this an AI background remover?
No. It neither segments nor alters the subject.
Does it guarantee Amazon approval?
