Privacy, in plain language.

OpenFileTools' current browser image tools process your image locally and do not upload image bytes to OpenFileTools servers. Selected files and generated results stay in browser memory until you remove them, replace them, or close the page.

Information we may collect

Our hosting provider may receive ordinary service information such as requested pages, approximate region, device type, security events, and referral source. We do not intentionally collect the contents of files processed by browser-only tools.

Clipboard access

Clipboard image data is read only when you explicitly paste an image with Ctrl+V / Cmd+V while a compatible OpenFileTools tool is focused. OpenFileTools does not continuously monitor your clipboard and does not upload pasted image data.

Loading an image from a URL

When you use a supported URL-loading control, your browser requests the image directly from the address you enter without sending user credentials. The remote website may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser details. OpenFileTools does not receive or store the entered URL or image.

Cookies and device storage

The current application does not set non-essential cookies and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage for image processing. Temporary files and results live in browser memory for the active page, so no decorative cookie banner is shown.

Advertising and analytics

Advertising and Google Analytics are not enabled in this release. This policy and consent behavior must be reviewed again before AdSense, analytics, or advertising cookies are enabled.

Future server processing

A future tool that requires server processing will be labeled separately and documented before launch. The local-processing statement above applies only to the current browser image tools.
