Export Document Consistency Checker

Compare Trade Studio quotation, pro forma, commercial invoice and packing-list snapshots for buyer, currency, Incoterm, goods, quantity and weight contradictions.

Compare snapshots, not appearances.Load JSON snapshots downloaded from the quotation, PI, commercial invoice and packing-list tools. The checker compares business fields and goods data; it does not claim customs acceptance.
Cross-document consistency

Find contradictions before documents leave your desk.

India trade-document baseline

Consistency is necessary, but not sufficient.

DGFT’s framework recognizes transport document + commercial invoice/packing list + customs declaration as core documentation, with additional documents possible for regulated goods.

Why this tool is different

Many export-document errors are not missing documents—they are contradictions between documents. This checker compares structured snapshots from the same workflow so mismatches surface before a buyer, bank, forwarder or customs broker sees them.

Requirements and recommendations

Compare the exact versions you plan to use

  • Download JSON snapshots from two or more Trade Studio document tools.
  • Load the versions that correspond to the same order/shipment.
  • Review each mismatch against the buyer PO, final shipment facts and official requirements.
How OpenFileTools processes it

Source-backed inputs, explicit assumptions.

The browser parses only Trade Studio JSON snapshots and compares normalized shared fields plus product lines and packing totals. Files are never uploaded.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Can I upload arbitrary PDF invoices?

Not in Phase 3. This checker uses structured Trade Studio snapshots so comparisons are deterministic rather than relying on OCR or fragile layout extraction.

What does a clean result mean?

Only that the fields this checker understands do not contradict each other. It is not customs, legal, bank or regulatory approval.
