Export Pro Forma Invoice Generator
Turn the shared export quote data into a pro forma invoice with consistent buyer, goods, currency, Incoterm, payment and shipment assumptions.
Enter the commercial facts once.
Seller/exporter name is required.
Buyer/consignee name is required.
At least one product line with a description and positive quantity is required.
Add the named place/port after the Incoterm; a three-letter rule alone is incomplete commercial wording.

References and dates
Customs paperwork is transaction-specific.
India’s framework recognizes commercial invoice/packing-list documentation, but restricted or regulated goods can require additional certificates, NOCs or agency documents. Trade Studio does not invent those requirements.
A pro forma should be consistent with the offer the buyer accepted, while remaining clearly distinct from the final commercial invoice. Trade Studio reuses the same project rather than creating a disconnected template.
Carry accepted terms into the PI
- Confirm buyer name/address and product quantities.
- Confirm price/currency, Incoterm + named place and payment terms.
- Review any bank/payment instructions independently before sending.
Source-backed inputs, explicit assumptions.
The local project is rendered into a searchable PDF and auditable JSON snapshot. The generator does not transmit payment or buyer data.
Questions, answered.
Is a pro forma the same as a commercial invoice?
No. A pro forma is normally a preliminary commercial document; the final commercial invoice reflects the actual sale/shipment facts.
Can I change the PI without changing other documents?
The shared project intentionally keeps common commercial facts synchronized. Download a snapshot first if you need to preserve an earlier accepted version.
